About Drone Media Library

Drone Media Library is a desktop application for reviewing and organizing drone footage after a flight. It keeps videos, photos, notes, ratings, collections, location data, and DJI telemetry together in one local library.

Use it when you need to:

  • Import drone videos and photos from local storage.
  • Review DJI video telemetry from matching .SRT files.
  • Browse media in a grid or on a map.
  • Add notes, tags, ratings, and collections.
  • Export videos, photos, or a still frame from a video.
  • View flight statistics across your imported media.

The app stores references to files on your computer. It does not upload your media by default. Keep the original files in place after importing so the library can continue opening, exporting, and checking them.

Supported media

Drone Media Library supports video files and photo files selected from your computer. For DJI telemetry, place the .SRT file beside the video file and use the same base filename.

Example:

DJI_0001.MP4
DJI_0001.SRT

When the app imports DJI_0001.MP4, it looks for the matching .SRT file and uses it for flight path, altitude, distance, and telemetry summaries.
