Getting Started

Open Drone Media Library and start from the left sidebar. The main sections are:

  • Library: import, browse, filter, search, and open media.
  • Collections: group related videos and photos.
  • Stats: review totals, flight activity, and drone models.
  • Search Index: build or repair semantic search indexes.
  • Settings: change language, map, appearance, and search settings.

First launch​

  1. Open the app.
  2. Go to Settings.
  3. Choose your language.
  4. Choose light or dark mode.
  5. Leave the map provider as OpenStreetMap (Leaflet) unless you have a custom tile server.

The app creates its local library database automatically. You can begin importing media immediately.

  1. Copy your drone videos, photos, and .SRT files to a stable folder on your computer.
  2. Open Library.
  3. Use Add Videos, Add Photos, or drag files into the Library.
  4. Open a video detail page to confirm whether SRT telemetry was found.
  5. Add ratings, tags, notes, or collections as you review the media.
