What is Remode?​

Remode app provides the function for Remote Control over the Internet and is part of the Drone Web Service (DWS) companion application suite, allowing remote visual beyond line of sight (BVLOS) flight under specific circumstances.

Note: Remode usage must comply with local regulations and guidelines.

Requirements​

  • Drone: Compatible with DJI drones
  • Remote Controller: 2 remote controllers are required
    • For Onsite Operator: The remote controller that is connected to the drone
    • For Offsite Operator: The remote controller that is connected to the Remode app
  • Onsite Operator: A person who is physically present at the drone's location
  • Offsite Operator: A person who is controlling the drone remotely
  • Internet Connection: A stable internet connection is required for both the onsite operator and remote pilot
  • Remode App: The app must be installed on the remote pilot's device
