Offsite Operator

This page is for the offsite operator, who is controlling the drone remotely. The offsite operator must have a stable internet connection and a compatible remote controller connected to the Remode app. The offsite operator will be able to see the video stream from the drone's camera and control the drone using the joystick.

Connecting the Remote Controller​

Please connect the remote controller to the drone and ensure that the drone is powered on. The remote controller must be connected to the internet for the Remode app to function properly.

Please select 'Offsite' and click open button to go to the flight page for onsite operator.

  • Panel Button (red-color-bordered): Panel Button is the button to open/close the panel on the right side of the screen. Please close if you need more space for the livestreaming video.

  • Speaker Button (orange-color-bordered): mute and unmute the speaker to talk with the remote pilot.

  • Command Panel (light-blue-color-bordered): the panel is to set up the remote control.

Hiding the Command Panel​

Offsite page 2 you are able to hide the command panel by clicking the panel button (red-color-bordered) on the top left corner of the screen.

Join remote session​

Please tap one of "Remote Operation" item on the list of Avaiable Remote Session to join the remote session.

Remote session started​

Once the remote session is started, you will see the following screen on the right. The remote pilot will be able to see the video stream from the drone's camera. Offsite page 3

Buttons​

  • Request: This is the button to request the remote pilot to take over the control of the drone. The remote pilot will be able to see the request and accept it. This is explained in the Remote Control Request page.

  • Safety mode: This is the buttons to enable the safety mode. The safety mode will disable the remote control of the drone and the onsite operator will be able to take over the control of the drone. Please see the Safety Mode page for more information.

  • Leave Button: This is the button to leaev the remote session.

Close the page​

Once you click the logo image on top-left corner of the page, you will be redirected to the menu page. The remote session will be stopped automatically.
