Troubleshooting

Network discovery problems are often caused by router or hotspot isolation. See Network and Privacy for network settings and a hotspot test.

No nearby screens are found

  • Confirm that the sender started screen sharing and approved screen capture.
  • Connect both devices to the same local network.
  • Avoid guest Wi-Fi or networks with client isolation.
  • Select Refresh on the viewer.

Screen sharing does not start

  • Try again and approve the screen-capture request.
  • Confirm that Screen Share is enabled for the selected workspace.
  • Try HD (720p) if Full HD is unreliable on the current network.

The connection fails or is lost

  • Check the Wi-Fi connection on both devices.
  • Keep both devices within reliable range of the network.
  • Disconnect, return to discovery, and connect again.
  • Restart the sharing session if the sender changed networks.

Screen Share is unavailable

  • Confirm that a workspace is selected.
  • Confirm that the workspace has active trial or purchased access.
  • Ask a workspace administrator whether your account should have access.

The viewer cannot control the sender

This is expected. Screen Share provides view-only video and does not support remote control or device audio.
